Photo Highlights: Trogir, Croatia 2012

Croatia is a very hilly country, which made driving into Trogir incredibly scenic, breathtaking, and exciting. My only regret is–because I was the one driving–I couldn’t take pictures! Photo Highlights: Split, Croatia 2012

After Florence, I took a ferry from Ancona over to Split in Croatia. I roamed about the old town and Diocletian’s palace. The Temple of Jupiter was a bit hard to find, maybe partly because it was closed when I got there (but there was a gap in the chained/locked door, so I managed to sneak my iPhone in to steal shots). Since I haven’t been keeping my photo gallery up-to-date, I thought I’d post highlights of my travels instead. Here’s Venice in early Oct, 2012. I liked Venice a lot more than Florence or Rome, because I enjoy exploring small, quaint places on foot, and loved the total absence of cars.
